.Uitenhage Wimpy Pro Ten Trips to be played on Thursday, April 9th. Play starts at 17:00. One novice or aspiring bowler to be included in the team.

Methuselahs Golf

This week’s BBPS competition was sponsored by Total Cannon Hill. Taking the honours were Gordon Reynolds and Melinda McKay on 23.75 points. The Morris Olivier sponsored prize for nearest the pins on short holes went to Renzo Vaghi on the 13th and Lynette van der Westhuizen on the 17th hole.

Two clubs were recorded by No. 1 Hein McLeod on the 13th and Melinda McKay on the 17th hole. Winners of the Teddy Bear was the pairing of Louis Sherman and Hutt Little whilst the whiskey draw went to “The Phantom”.

)Tennis

Play andamp; Stay Tennis: Play andamp; Stay is a new way of introducing tennis to children from grades 1 and older. It will be hosted every Saturday morning from 08:00 until 09:45 at the Drostdy Tennis Club in Uitenhage. Children are required to bring a tennis racket and wear sports shoes. There will also be rackets for those who do not have. Classes commence on April 18th. Enquiries: Charles Crause 079 812 1240.
