Die talentvolle o.13 Uitenhage subunie-rugbyspan is gekroon as die wenners van die 13de OP Kings o.13 subunie-rugbytoernooi wat onlangs by Marlow Landbouskool buite Cradock aangebied is.

Hulle het in ’n aanskoulike eindstryd met PE Stad afgereken (eindtelling 12-5). Agt subunies van die OP Kings Rugbyunie het aan vanjaar se toernooi deelgeneem.

Die o.13 Uitenhage subunie-rugbyspan het ’n totaal van 158 punte aangeteken (26 drieë) en slegs 12 punte is teen hulle aangeteken.

Volgens Chris van Dalen, bestuurder van die o.13 Uitenhage subuniespan het die span sedert 2008 slegs 1 wedstryd verloor, 35 gewen en 3 gelykop gespeel.

Ses spelers is na die toernooi gekies vir die OP Kings subuniespan. Hulle is Kaylim Cordier (Handhaaf), Morné de Ridder (Hand-haaf), Tristan Erasmus (Frans Conradie), Chesney Rudman (Albertyn), Markus Roos (Albertyn) en Bradley Plaatjies (Innes).
