A woman from KwaNobuhle was one of twenty national winners who each walked away with shopping vouchers worth R15 000.

Lulama Sambokwe, a customer of OK Grocer Uitenhage, could not believe that the slip she inserted into the 50/50 OK Cares competition box earned her OK shopping vouchers worth R15 000.

She was granted the opportunity of nominating a charity of her choice which was donated OK shopping vouchers of the same value. Lulama nominated Charity Begins At Home a non-profit organisation established by Nosipho Tokwana who in return donated vouchers to Mjuleni Primary School in KwaNobuhle.

Four of the twenty national winners were from the Eastern Cape, with two from Humansdorp, one from East London and Lulama from Uitenhage.

The current OK Grocer competition will have twenty customers each winning R25 000 shopping vouchers and it is running until August 10th. The end-of-year OK Grocer competition will offer a Bakkie as the winning prize
