A non-franchise used car dealership, coupled with a strong service franchise namely Auto Care & Diagnostics, which includes a parts department catering for all brands of vehicles, is ready to open its doors in Uitenhage.

“This is an exciting addition to our group - Kelston Motor Group - and once again a commitment from our side to invest in Uitenhage, as this town is close to Kelston’s heart,” said Eugene Gerber, Kelston Motor Group’s Used Car Sales Manager.

Grand opening December1st

“The development of this dealership is roughly a R10 million investment and will create additional employment in our area. We are planning to open our doors on the 1st of December 2016.”

Gerber said that at the beginning of this year, he together with the Kelston Motor Group Director, Michael McNaughton, was driving through Uitenhage looking for premises in order to expand the Kelston Motor Group. They then spotted the premises and thought it to be perfect to open the new branch they had in mind.

The dealership will open its doors at 249 Caledon Street at the former Bad Boys building opposite from where the old MasterCars dealership used to be.

Gerber is excited regarding this development as his involvement with the Kelston Motor Group dates back to 2004.

“I started as a driver and after hours I assisted the sales staff with sales. I then became part of the sales team as a sales executive.

After a few years I became the manager of the old Mastercars dealership,” said Gerber who is currently the Kelston Motor Group’s Used Car Sales Manager. He will also manage the new dealership in Caledon Street.

“This has always been my goal and my career is something that I am very passionate about.

I know that the new branch will be a huge success,

Michael McNaughton, Peter McNaughton, Eugene Gerber and the staff are very excited about the development. They will work hard to give you the best service in town.

Services rendered

Services rendered at the new dealership include: sales, services, smash & grab, ding repairs, polishing of vehicles, windscreen chip repairs, parts and accessories and safety checks.
