Christadelphians hit the music road

2015-12-17 06:00

The Christadelphians Gospel Group, established in 1969, presents its 45th Christmas Show on 25 December in the Allanridge Civic Centre in Uitenhage.

The Christadelphians Christmas Show has been an annual attraction for many gospel music lovers who travel from as far as Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban to attend this show.

The group has been undertaking a Christmas Tour during December of every year since its establishment and 2015 is no exception. The tour started in Kokstad and then they visited Worcester, Grabouw, Kleinmond and Caledon. They will be in Kraaifontein and Oudtshoorn this weekend and in Plettenburg Bay and Somerset East next week before performing in Uitenhage, Graaff Reinet and Cradock.

The group is preparing an exciting programme for the Uitenhage show, which starts at 19:00. Tickets, at R40 each, are available at the door.

“Our theme for this year is Peace, be still, as Christmas reminds us that amidst all the demands and stress that this season often brings, God is still in charge. His peace will always sustain us in the most challenging of situations. So, whatever the storms that may come our way, we must be still and rely on God’s peace to guide us”, says Godfrey Murens, chairman of the group.

“We are looking forward to seeing our supporters sharing this wonderful event with us. Please come early to avoid disappointment,” continues Murens.
