1 Middelmatige groot hoender

2 eetlepels sout (of na smaak)

¼ teelepel peper

4 eetlepels meelblom

1/8 teelepel fyn naeltjies

¼ teelepel gerasperde neut

¼ teelepel fyn gemmer

2 koppies lemoensap

¼ teelepel rissiesous

½ koppie ontpitte rosyne

1/8 koppie gekapte amandels


Sny die hoender in stukke en vryf dit in met sout, peper en 2 eetlepels meelblom.

Verhit botter in ’n swaar oondskottel en braai die vleis tot bruin daarin.

Verwyder die vleis uit die botter en maak ’n sous soos volg:

Roer die orige 2 eetlepels meelblom en speserye by die botter in die oondskottel.

Gooi die lemoensap en die rissiesous by.

Roer totdat die sous dik en glad is.

Pak die hoenderstukke in die sous.

Strooi die rosyne oor, sit die deksel op en bak in die oond tot die vleis sag is.

Strooi die amandels bo-oor.
