Last chance for Megastar online auditions

2017-09-14 06:01

If you think you have what it takes to be the next MTN Megastar musical star, flex your vocal chords and show the judges what you are made of.

Although auditions were held yesterday at the Boardwalk Casino, those who could not attend the auditions will not be left out in the cold. Contestants will be allowed to audition online by uploading a short video on MTN Play (mtnplay.co.za) which will give them a chance to receive an express pass at the regional auditions – online auditions close midnight on Friday, 15 September.

The grand prize winner will walk away with a once in a lifetime opportunity of signing a recording deal with Temple Records, and the renowned US based producer Mike Will, who has worked with award winning artists such as Beyoncé, Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar to name a few.

T-Bo Touch, together with KO, Kwesta and Nomuzi Mabena, will be judging the auditions and will select a total of 10 contestants from the 5 auditions that will be held across the country. They will also stand a chance to win weekly prizes and one lucky subscriber stands to drive away with an Audi A1.

The process of elimination will see contestants being reduced weekly based on the public voting, and the winner of the grand prize will also be voted for by the public.

How to upload your video:

•Go to MTN Play website http://mtn-megastars.appspot.com/

•Create an account

•Once you have created, it will ask you to log-in with your credentials you have provided when creating an account

•Once logged in, click to upload video. Then you will be able to upload your video, and click submit.

•You will get an acknowledgment message afterwards. Saying ‘video submission is successful’
