Let your health be checked - free of charge at Despatch

There will be free health screenings by the Eastern Cape Department of Health at the Despatch Superspar next Wednesday from 11:00 till 14:00 as part of the lead-up to the annual Algoa FM Big Walk for Cancer.

A province-wide awareness campaign includes free health and cancer screenings in major centres. This includes tests for hypertension, diabetes, prostrate cancer, blood pressure, glucose levels, tuberculosis, blood cancer and breast cancer.

  • The Big Walk will take place on Saturday, October 29th at the Boardwalk. Entry forms are available from prominent sports shops as well as on-line at the Algoa FM website.
