The changing of season usually also means the changing of sports and autumn in Uitenhage means mini hockey coaching time!

Well-known in the hockey circles, Peter Biljon this year will start with his mini hockey coaching on forthcoming Saturday, April 22nd at the Uitenhage Hockey Club, across from the Indoor Sports Centre. The coaching will continue every Saturday morning until June 24th.

“The coaching is open to everyone, boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 13 years,” said Peter Biljon.

Only 120 participants can be accommodated.

Mini hockey balls will be provided as well as coaches for each squad.

All that is required is a once off R150 registration fee and for participants to wear proper running shoes and bring along their own hockey sticks.

Registration for the mini hockey coaching will be on Saturday, April 22nd at 08:30 and practice starts at 09:00 sharp.

Entry forms are available from Brocketts Sports in Church Street or at 4 Meyer Street, Mosel.
