Once there was the Bluebird, iconic 240Z and the popular Datsun SSS. Now it is back! A different Datsun, the accessible GO - for first time new car buyers or Risers!

The Datsun GO is the first new Datsun offering introduced on the South African market since the brand’s return. The brand is owned by Nissan, whose reputation for value and reliability will help raise GO’s market share in the young Riser’s emerging market.

In Uitenhage, Group 1 Nissan now also a Datsun dealership and boasts various models of this exciting hatchback. General Manager of the dealership Kobus Alberts and his team await those interested to book a test drive or who simply want to look at this car in a price segment below R100 000.

Risers need access to opportunities that drive them to their dream. The Datsun GO enables Risers to break through in life, allowing them to become independent not only in the form of owning their own transport but inspiring them to become unique individuals.

The Datsun GO is here to stay as the badge for the Risers.

All-in-1-GO finance

Fixed cost motoring became a reality for owners of the Datsun GO. The All-in-1-GO plan is a unique financial offering, the first package of its kind, introduced to the highly competitive A-segment motoring market.

It means being able to make a single fixed monthly payment, that will cover all the major expenditure associated with vehicle ownership. It also makes it possible for people who would not have qualified for traditional bank loans to fund their vehicles. This facet of the All-in-1-GO plan addresses one of the major issues faced by buyers in the 18-30 year Generation Y market. Through no fault of their own, many find themselves being turned away by banks, as they are young or have recently started work for the first time and have not had the opportunity to build up credit histories.

At Group 1 Nissan in Uitenhage, Business Manager Kobus Alberts Junior will be at the service of all who want to make use of the All-in-1-GO financial offering.

Service with a smile

The team at Group 1 Nissan is people orientated. A cup of coffee, friendly smile, professional assistance are all part of their service to visitors and clients. Rozanne Esterhuizen will see to all the administration aspects whilst the sales team consists of Francois Keuler, Khaya Sidina and Angelique Nell.

When it comes to the servicing of vehicles, Group 1 Nissan is the preferred dealership for many clients, even from neighbouring towns. Alberts knows his clients and often drives the extra mile to accommodate them in having their vehicle services.

“I also can guarantee you that services here are far more affordable than at larger dealerships,” said Alberts.

The workshop is up to standard and managed by Bernard Lombard with Riaan Schoonraad as parts manager. So much so that both the high performance Nissan 350Z & 370 Z and GTR from Armand du Preez are serviced here. Advanced technology applies, though, and the mechanics are flown in from Gauteng to service Du Preez’s GTR. These Z’s were charged up for the Simola Hill Climb in Knysna which will be held from 6 to 8 May.
