HOOG in die lug - hoe hoog? Dit is nog ’n hele ent - hoe vér?

Sestien graad 7-leerders van die Laerskool Jeffreysbaai het vanaf 22 September tot 24 September ’n opvoedkundige avontuurkamp in Tsitsikamma bygewoon.

Die naweek het met ’n heerlike ete in Jeffreysbaai afgeskop, gevolg deur ’n melkskommel en fotosessie uit toeka-se-dae by Marilyn’s 60’s Diner in Stormsrivier Village.

Terug by Tsitsikamma Falls Adventures, was dit tyd vir ’n heerlike braai voor leerders vir die nag gaan inkruip het.

Die Saterdag het op ’n hoë - baie hoë - noot afgeskop: met hul hoogtevrees stewig weggepak, het leerders die 216m hoë brug by Face Adrenalin/ Bloukrans Bungee aangepak.

Uitstappies na Monkey Land, Birds of Eden en Jukani het vir prettige buitelugaktiwi-teite gesorg.

Na aandete het moeë leerders vroeg bedwaarts gekeer.

Die naweek is afgesluit met ziplyn by Tsitsikamma Falls Adventrues - die hoogtepunt van die kamp.

Elke leerder het sakgeld ontvang wat deur Ferrari Pub and Grub en die gemeenskap ingesamel is.

Dié opwindende kamp, aangebied deur Tsitsikamma Falls Adventures en Kouga Express, is moontlik gemaak deur Tsitsikamma Falls Adventures, Monkey Land, Birds of Eden, Jukani, Face Adrenalin/ Bloukrans Bungee, Pick ’n Pay Jeffreysbaai, Woodlands Dairy, Tsitsikamma Crystals, Marilyn’s 60’s Diner, Fountains Mall, BASF Port Elizabeth, Wavelands Caltex, asook plaaslike besighede en boere.
