Springbokrugby se voor- ma-lige stoomroller-stut Vleis (Rudie) Visagie en sy vrou Frieda, ’n voormalige provinsiale netbalspeler, is deesdae ’n ge-dugte span op hul eie. ’n Geestelike motiveringspan!

“Ons was vir 10 jaar voltyds in diens van die Here by Communio AGS in Nelspruit. Twee en ’n half jaar gelede het ons ons werk bedank, ons huis verhuur en die langpad begin aandurf met die karavaan,” sê Frieda wat buiten haar sporttalent ook ’n begaafde geestelike sanger is.

Rudie is ook deel van die Bok-en-Biltong-aande, gewoonlik manne-aande wat landwyd aangebied word saam met Ollie le Roux, Dawie Spies en Jannie de Beer. Johan Ackerman (Lions afrigter), Pierre Spies, Johan Muller sowel as Arno Botha het ook al saam met die oud-spelers bedien.

Wanneer Rudie en Frieda as ’n span optree hanteer hy die manne-aande of -oggende terwyl Frieda by vroue-ontbyte en -aande optree.
