Volkswagen Group South Africa’s multi- million rand PeoplePavilion, which was opened in December 2013, welcomed its 333 333th visitor, Alton Jantjies.

Alton, a VWSA employee for the past 26 years, has been a member of the People Pavilion Gym since its opening.

Alton has worked in various parts of the factory namely final assembly, press shop, body shop and engine plant.

“I find the PeoplePavilion very convenient as it is on my way home and to work,” said Alton Jantjies.

“I use the gym because of the high standard of gym equipment, the affordability and the fact that it caters for our family members as well.

Being a gym member has allowed me to invest in improving my health and wellness, which has seen the most drastic lifestyle change not only in my appearance but well-being as well.”

The VWSA PeoplePavilion offers VWSA employees and their loved ones access to state of the art gym facilities and various venues which can be hired for weddings, birthdays and functions.

Almost 1 500 VWSA employees also take part in 17 sporting codes, most of which meet and practise at the PeoplePavilion.
