For the first time Touch of Class will be performing at this year’s SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees.

Touch of Class is made up of the highly talented Deon van der Merwe and Ruhan du Toit.

They will be performing on the Adventure Province Main Stage on Sunday, July 2.

This group started out in 1986 performing as a backing band to singers such as Anneli van Rooyen, Manuel Escorcio and Andre Schwartz.

Currently Touch of Class is enjoying the success of a newly released double album “100 Duisend Perde” which festival goers can look forward to hearing at this year’s SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees.

Most of the great songs from this album have been written by music composers such as Michael De Large and Pierre Rossouw

Touch of Class describe their album as telling their life story because it focuses on their heritage, philosophy and daily social values

  • Tickets are available from Mafuta Padstal in Kirkwood, Westway Café in Cape Road Port Elizabeth and BZN Stationers in Uitenhage.
