The Curt Alchin Memorial Race will be hosted at the Victory Raceway on Saturday, 21 January.

Curt Alchin was a multiple South African champion in oval racing. He tragically passed away on 28 January 2012 whilst competing in a V8 American Saloon race.

“Victory Raceway would like to honour his legacy in hosting a memorial race in remembrance of a motorsport legend,” said Vicky Gillmer from Victory Raceway.

The gates will open at 15:00 and racing starts at 18:00. The competing classes include: Development, 1660s, 2.1 Modifieds, Super Six and American Saloons.

Braai facilities are available as well as foodstalls.
