Methuselahs Golf: This week’s IPS competition was sponsored by Andre Rossouw Makelaars. Bob McAuley claimed 1st prize on count-out from Hein “No 1” McLeod, both on 17 points. The Morris Olivier sponsored prize for nearest the pins on short holes went to Johan Fouche on the 4th and Brian McNicol on the 7th hole. Two clubs were recorded by Johan Fouche, Jenny Botha and Charles Hambury, all on the 4th hole. Pierre van Westhuizen scooped the whiskey draw, yet again.

)Racing PE Oval Track: Second National Qualifier race meeting on Saturday 27 August. Racing starts at 18:00. Classes: Beginners, Rookie Rods, 1660s, 2.1s, Hotrods, Super 6, Standard V8s and V8 American Saloons. Adults R50, Children U/12 R20. Parking around the track is free. Food stalls will be available. Spectators parking around the track are welcome to bring their own braai’s. Enquiries: Karen 082 605 3455.
