Die derde been van Spur se taai berg- fiets-liga word Saterdag op Uitenhage aangebied by HTS Daniel Pienaar se bergfietsbaan vol uitdagings.

Verlede jaar was die Spur MTB League, soos dit bekendstaan, die grootste hoërskoolfietsryprogram in die wêreld met 10 500 deelnemers.

Die sport word beskou as aangenaam vir skolewedywering en ook ‘n gesonde tydver-dryf vir skoliere.

Die Spur MTB League bestaan uit vier bene wat in elke streek gehou word vir hoërskool sowel as laerskool bergfietsryers. Die finaal word in Oktober op Magaliesburg gehou waar die wenskool van elke ouderdomsgroep R10 000 gaan ontvang vir die ontwikkeling van die sport.

Vir Saterdag se deelname is daar verskillende ouderdomsgroepe vir seuns, dogters sowel as vir gemengde spanne. Individue is ook welkom om in te skryf.

Die registrasieproses vir deelname aan Saterdag se bergfiets-uitdaging is vanaf 09:00-12:00 by HTS Daniel Pienaar se hoofsportveld en klubhuis.

Die nasionale eindronde is in Oktober in Magaliesburg.
