2015-11-12 06:00

St Katharine Anglican Church in Uitenhage, also known as the “Stone Church or Klipkerk” will host its annual carol evening service on Sunday, December 6th at 18:00.

A program of scriptures and music is based on a service first held at King’s College in Cambridge, England, on Christmas Eve of 1918.

The congregation will be entertained by the Despatch Men Choir, an organ-recital by Liesel Murphy and also well-known singers, Karina Pattinson, Hazel Swanepoel and Ilza and Kelly Hansen.

The public are invited to experience the atmosphere of this beautiful old Stone Church whilst listening to the enchanting carols in celebration of the forthcoming Festive Season.
