Teachers from 17 non-profit organisations in the Kirkwood area have been sponsored by Mayibuye Ndlovu Development Trust to complete their learners and drivers licences.

“This is a huge accomplishment as there often are no drivers to take children from the various crèches on outings,” said Kim Goeda, Social Worker from the Department of Social Development.

The Trust saw the need and assisted these teachers to obtain their drivers licences.

Charlie Joseph from Mayibuye Ndlovu Development Trust said their aim is to enhance people’s lives and make a positive contribution in the community.
