The Villa Restaurant is ideally located in the main street of Despatch, across the road from the Despatch sports complex, where there is a balanced mix of business and residential properties.

The ambience resembles a rustic villa style with wooden tables and chairs, arches, stone finishes, a fire-place and ample space. It is ideal for business luncheons, post-workout drinks, family time and intimate dinners.

Whether occasions are formal or informal, The Villa Restaurant will cater to suit its clients’ needs. This includes catering for birthday parties, kitchen teas or whatever there is to celebrate. Reservations can be made and walk-ins are always welcome.

All facilities at The Villa Restaurant are wheel-chair friendly.

The extended outdoor section, with a view across the countryside, is popular for real “stoep-kuiers” and equipped to be cosy through all seasons. During summer months there is a fresh breeze keeping it cool. Come winter, the outdoor heaters keep it warm and cosy.

Sports events can be viewed on the big screen television whilst enjoying a light meal, dinner or quenching your thirst.

Meals are presented as barbeques, breakfasts, brunches and buffets and the menus include burgers, diners, pizzas, sandwiches, seafood and steaks. There is a cash bar available (licensed).

A bonus is the ample and secure parking. The trading hours are Tuesdays to Saturdays 08:30-23:00 (Fridays: karaoke with André Barnard), Sundays 09:00-15:00 (live country band with Kobus Barnard & associates). Closed on Mondays.

How much food do you need to concentrate?

We have been taught that we need three meals a day in order to make it through the day and while most of us indulge in more than our fair share there is a large portion of South Africans who are living off barely enough to sustain them.
