Die VLV Carpe Diem-tak nooi belangstellendes uit na hul volgende vergadering waar daar gesels gaan word oor hidrouliese rotsbreking.

Professor Anton de Wit van Nelson Mandela Universiteit is die gasspreker.

Hy het vir jare navorsing gedoen oor hidrouliese rotsbreking (fracking) in die Karoo . Prof. De Wit sal sy bevindinge deel.

Dit beloof om ’n baie interessante gesprek te wees.

Hidrouliese rotsbreking is ’n kontroversiële manier om gas te myn en dit is van belang vir die publiek om hieroor ingelig te wees, veral vir inwoners van die Oos-Kaap.

Die VLV vergadering oor hidrouliese rotsbreking word op Donderdag, 12 Oktober om 09:30 by die NGK Winterhoek-kerksaal gehou. Die saal is op die hoek van Malansingel en Langenhovenstraat.
