WoGa Security has expanded its proactive security services. Not as a result of crime, but owing to their efficient way in which they combat crime and security related issues.

As from today, September 1st, WoGa also offers 24 hour alarm system monitoring, 24 hour close circuit television (CCTV) & surveillance cameras as well as armed response.

Other services include:

• Polygraph tests

• Drug & breathalyser tests

• Security guards (business, private & special events)

• Installing & monitoring of alarms (business & residential)

• Security gates (installing)

• Air conditioners (installing & servicing)

• Fleet of five patrol vehicles

• Contracts for long term, month-to-month & special events

“We want to contribute in combatting crime in Uitenhage. This is a task to tackle as a community - through our services rendered to the public and businesses - and to operate in co-operation with our local police,” said Bomma Woest who established WoGa Security during August 2012.

Bomma for 20 years served in the South African Police Service. He started WoGa to specialize in security guards, polygraph and breathalyzer tests.

“Our slogan is ICU, like in ‘I see you’. So, criminals must know they are watched! When it comes to clients, I believe in personal interaction. I also like to meet clients eye to eye,” said Bomma.

WoGa Security’s services are based in Uitenhage and Despatch. The polygraph services are operated by polygraph examiner Hugo Woest, Bomma’s brother. This service is highly successful and Hugo often travels to Addo, Kirkwood as well as East London to do tests.

WoGa currently employs 63 security guards, each of whom has to undergo a polygraph test every three months. These guards are deployed across the Nelson Mandela Bay area.
