Logan Henman, a Grade 11 learner at Muir College Boys’ High School was selected to be a part of the Youth Day Team that took over Algoa FM on Youth Day, June 16th.

Once a week, for a period of five weeks, Logan, along with the other learners from Nelson Mandela Bay who were selected, participated in training and learnt the ins-and-outs of running a radio studio.

“It is far more complicated than I thought it would be,” said Logan Henman when referring to his special role as sound engineer for the day.

When asked whether he would like to follow a career path in radio, he humbly agreed that it was definitely something he would be interested in.
