Durban - One person died and 10 were injured in an accident in Durban on Friday paramedics said.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Jeff Wicks said a taxi and car collided on the R33.
"They both spun out of control."
The taxi went down an embankment and the driver of the car was killed.
Ten people from the taxi were injured
In a seperate incident on the N2 northbound adjacent to the Durban International Airport, a car lost control and landed on its roof in the middle of the road.
The driver was seriously injured and taken to hospital just after 19:00.
