10 arrested for Eastern Cape murders

Johannesburg - Ten people were arrested on Wednesday in connection with two murders in the Bityi area near Mthatha, Eastern Cape police said.

Lieutenant Colonell Mzukisi Fatyela said during a search for a missing 40-year-old man they found the body of a 37-year-old man in the veld near the Luqolweni informal settlement on Tuesday.

They found the body of the 40-year-old when the search continued on Wednesday.

The 10 would appear in the Bityi Periodical Court on Friday.
