10 injured in KZN accident

Pietermaritzburg - A spokesperson for ER24, André Visser, said on Saturday that 10 people had sustained various injuries after two vehicles collided head-on on the R103 near the lion park.

The cause of the collision is unknown at this stage, but the two vehicles, a bakkie and a car, had allegedly collided head-on at speed.

Both the vehicles left the road and rolled down an embankment.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene, they found 10 people in need of medical attention.

All 10 were taken to hospital.
