taxies are forever driving on the white line, and extremely close to the car in front, ready to overtake, that is a course for great concern! teach those driver to drive!

Drugs are banned in SA because of the detrimental effect they have on society. Fire arms are regulated to the nth degree because they can be used to kill. Yet if you combine the deaths related to the above two it comes no where close to the numbers killed by taxis each year.

I'm not at all saying they were over loaded, just curious...For how many people are there seats (I know you can get more people in if you try) in a standard minibus taxi? I ask because I have rented minibus taxis from a university for field trips (they look exactly like most minibuses used for taxis) and they could only pack 14 adults (max, because of the weight/suspension limit) including the driver (four rows of three seats and two in front.)
