Pretoria - Police arrested two men on Wednesday in connection with the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast, police said.
Lieutenant Colonel Vincent Mdunge said the two were arrested in KwaDukuza.
The two along with a third man, who is still sought, were linked to an attack on teenagers on a beach near the resort of Zinkwazi on Tuesday.
Mdunge said the three men accosted the girl and her 17-year-old boyfriend as they walked along the beach.
They stabbed the boyfriend and dragged the girl into nearby bushes where she was repeatedly raped by all three.
The three fled and the two teenagers from Gauteng were treated at a local hospital.
"I was told they were in an extremely traumatic state," Mdunge said.
