Johannesburg - Two men were arrested for possession of 1.5kg of pure heroin in Durban on Friday, KwaZulu-Natal police said.
The narcotics division of the city's organised crime unit received reports of drug dealing in a flat on Percy Osborne Road, which led them to monitor it, Lieutenant Colonel Vincent Mdunge said in a statement.
Police searched the flat and found pure heroin powder with an estimated street value of R600 000. They arrested two men, both aged 33.
They were expected to appear in the Durban Magistrate's Court on Monday on drug dealing charges.
