Pretoria - Two people were killed and 18 others injured in two accidents in Gauteng, paramedics said on Saturday.

“Two people died and 18 others were injured in two separate collisions in Gauteng. The first incident between a taxi and a car took place late last night at the corner of Hendrik Potgieter and Rhinoceros in Roodepoort,” ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said.

Paramedics arrived on scene and found patients standing and walking around on the scene. Upon assessment it was found that they sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. They were treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.
