Cape Town - Two people were killed in a plane crash near Lanseria Airport in Johannesburg on Thursday morning.

Officials have confirmed that the light plane crashed near Lanseria Airport, leaving two people dead.

Johan Opperman, marketing and PR manager for Lanseria Airport, said that the details of the crash are still unclear.
