Police officers were following up on information that two
suspicious-looking people were seen driving around the area.
"They observed them as they were entering a business

officers, a captain, was slightly wounded in the face," he said.

A 9mm pistol was recovered at the scene.
The vehicle used by the pair was impounded for further
