Johannesburg - Three people have been arrested for the murder of a worshipper outside a mosque in Bayview, Durban, on January 20, police said on Monday.
The worshipper was shot after evening prayers outside the Iqbalia mosque, Lieutenant Colonel Vincent Mdunge said.
He died of his injuries in hospital on Sunday. Police found two of the alleged attackers in Newlands.
The third was arrested in a house in the Ntuzuma township. He was in possession of a 9mm pistol.
The three men, aged between 25 and 30, would be charged with murder when they appeared in the Chatsworth Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
