3 arrested for deadly KZN shooting

Pietermaritzburg - Three men have been arrested for allegedly shooting dead two people and wounding another in Wembezi, near Estcourt, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Wednesday.

A man and a woman were killed in the shooting on Tuesday, said Captain Thulani Zwane.

Another woman was wounded and taken to a nearby hospital for medical care.

The men, aged between 32 and 40, were arrested later on Tuesday night, said Zwane.

The motive for the shooting was unknown and police were investigating.

The men would appear in the Estcourt Magistrate's Court soon.
