Durban - Three men appeared in the Umbumbulu Magistrate's Court on Monday for the possession of suspected stolen property worth about R800 000, KwaZulu-Natal police said.
Petros Dlamini, 30, Lucky Mhlakwana, 25 and Khulekani Nxele, 31, would appear in court again on Monday, Lieutenant Colonel Vincent Mdunge said.
They remained in custody.
The men were arrested on Friday when police stopped their vehicle on the way to KwaMakhutha and they were unable to explain how they came into possession of the goods inside.
These included radiators apparently stolen from a truck on South Coast Road in Durban's Bluff area.
Further investigation led to a house in KwaMakhutha which was used as a storage place for stolen goods.
Police recovered more boxes containing clothing, motor vehicle spares, radiator fans, Dettol disinfectant and a 20 litre plastic drum containing loose dagga.
