3 confirmed dead in KZN accident

Johannesburg - The bodies of a man and his two sons were recovered from their car on Monday after it plunged into the Richard's Bay Harbour, said paramedics.

The body of a woman, who was believed to have been in the car, was still sought, said Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha.

"Reports from the scene indicate that a male was driving the car and had a female and two children with him when they entered the waterfront area," he said.

The bodies of the man and his sons, aged three and seven, were recovered by police divers. They were declared dead on the scene.

Police were investigating.
