3 die in WCape car crash

Johannesburg - Three people were killed and 13 others seriously injured when their bakkie overturned on the N2 between Swellendam and Heidelberg, Western Cape police said on Friday.

Thulisa Hendricks was killed on impact on Thursday evening while Analisa and Buseka Nontshaba died later in hospital, Captain Malcolm Pojie said in a statement.

"It is believed that the Nissan LDV bakkie was travelling towards Mossel Bay and it was about 8km outside Heidelberg when the driver lost control of it."

The injured, believed to have been from Kwanonqaba near Mossel Bay, were being treated at the Heidelberg and Riversdale provincial hospitals.

The driver, who was among the survivors, would face a charge of culpable homicide.

How very old school of you. Grow up Henri - find out what a real man is. People generally should behave differently after leaving high school. If you think the march was only against the murderers then you're really naive. The placards were clearly blaming blacks and rallying white people against a common black enemy - why do you think it was covered in the media? . How is that different from how Malema incites his followers? As much as I find those murders sick, I find it even sicker that it is used to pit white against black. Protesting against crime, yes I get that. Taking a firm stance against violence? sure. Using the same tactics as ET? Not so much. And if you look at the irony of your comments, it's a mirror image of black ANC racists denouncing black people in the DA as political sell-outs to the whites masters. This march HAS become politicised, and it has thrown fuel on racial tension, so someone HAS to say "hey! This is not the way we should do things". And if that gets you votes then it means more people feel the same and want to tackle issues in a different manner. That brings me hope. Read the article...
