3 held for post office robbery

Johannesburg - Limpopo police arrested three men on Wednesday for the robbery of a post office in Matlala.
At 09:00 on Wednesday morning "seven armed robbers stormed the post office and demanded money from... employees and clients at gunpoint", said Superintendent Mohale Ramatseba in a statement.
The men fired a single shot. The thieves assaulted one person, slightly injuring him before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money.
They hijacked a two vehicles outside the building and made their escape in these cars and a silver grey BMW.
"The hijacked vehicles were later found abandoned by the robbers in the bushes between Mapela and Tinmine."
Three of the gang were caught in GaPila outside Mokopane. Police found two firearms and cash in their possession.
They would appear in Matlala Periodical Court soon. The other four robbers were still at large.
