Johannesburg - Three people have been arrested in
connection with a spate of robberies across the province, Gauteng police said
on Thursday.
Police spokesperson Lungelo Dlamini said the three men
who had been linked to various crimes committed in Douglasdale, Ivory Park and
Sandton were arrested on Thursday.
"One of the suspects is also on parole for an armed
robbery case in Wierdabrug," said Dlamini.
The arrest was made after police traced a cash withdrawal
of over R9 000 from a stolen credit card.
Through the arrest, police also recovered a stolen Pajero
believed to have been hijacked in Midrand.
Another man linked to the alleged crimes was being
sought.
The men were expected to appear in the Krugersdorp
Magistrate's Court on Monday.
