3-hour delays for Velvet Sky flights

Johannesburg - Velvet Sky flights were
delayed by up to three hours on Friday morning, the low-cost airline said.
The 05:45 flight from Johannesburg to Cape
Town, the 06:10 flight from Durban to Johannesburg and the 06:20 flight from
Johannesburg to Durban were delayed, Velvet Sky said in a statement.
A business dispute caused all Velvet Sky
flights on Thursday to be cancelled.
The airline said it was in a dispute with a
service provider and was in the process of changing service providers, but that
the process had not been concluded in time to operate.
The broad-based black economic empowerment
company is based in Durban and flies between that city, Johannesburg and Cape
Town.
Velvet Sky said the delays, which started on
Wednesday, were caused by circumstances beyond its control.
