3 killed, boy hurt in CT attack

Johannesburg - Three men were murdered and a woman and child injured when a man entered their home in Delft on Tuesday night and opened fire, Western Cape police said.

"It is alleged that the incident is gang-related, but we are investigating all possibilities," spokesperson Colonel Billy Jones said.

An unknown man allegedly entered the house at 23:40 through the unlocked front door and opened fire. The men aged 20, 22 and 28, all died on the scene from gunshot wounds.

A 24-year old woman and her five-year-old son, who shared a bedroom with one of the men, were also wounded. They were taken to hospital in a stable condition. The attacker fled the scene.

Police are investigating a case of murder. No arrests had been made yet.
