Johannesburg - The department of defence has filled three
new positions, it said on Wednesday.
Major General Jeremia Mduduzi Nyembe was appointed chief
of defence intelligence, the department said in a statement.
"General Nyembe replaces Lieutenant General Abel
Mxolosi Shilubane, who retired in 2012," said spokesperson Siphiwe
Dlamini.
Lieutenant General Vejaynand Indurjith Ramlakan would be
the new chief of corporate staff services.
Major General Aubrey Phegelelo Sedibe would be surgeon general.
Nyembe and Sedibe would also be promoted to lieutenant generals.
The appointments take effect on 1 April.
