Johannesburg - A woman who lost her sister and brother to
car crashes has herself been seriously injured in a crash, it was reported on
Wednesday.
Four years ago, Denzel Claasen died in a car crash while
travelling to Fun Valley, in Eldorado Park, The Star reported.
A year later, his sister Doronitha, 21, died when an
unlicensed driver crashed into a wall against which she was leaning while showing
off her new car.
Their mother Dorothy reportedly died of heartache last year,
unable to come to terms with her loss.
On Monday, Doronitha's sister Rosaline Moola was
trapped in the wreckage of her car when a truck carrying bricks from
Vanderbijlpark hit her car, wedging it against a metal road barrier on the N1
north, near 14th Avenue.
At the time, paramedics said a man died and 28 people were
injured in the crash.
"What I saw is the stuff you see in the movies, not in
real life. People were crying... it was madness," Moola's father Johnny
Claasen told the newspaper.
Moola was admitted to Garden City Hospital's intensive care
unit where she was recovering.
"She went to church on Sunday, and maybe God said it
was not her turn yet," Claasen told The Star.
