4 die in two Mpumalanga accidents

Johannesburg - Four people died in two different road accidents on the N4 on Friday, Mpumalanga officials said.

Three people died after a Vaal Maseru bus travelling to Malelane from Nelspruit overturned near the Nkomazi Toll Plaza, said the Mpumalanga department of community safety and security in a statement.

Six people sustained serious injuries, while eight had sustained minor injuries.

In a second accident, a person was killed and another injured when a bakkie collided with a truck while driving in the direction of Machadodorp.

The department said police were investigating cases of culpable homicide for both accidents.
