Durban - Four people were injured in a gas explosion in a
temple on Friday in Phoenix, north of Durban, paramedics said.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said two people were
in a critical condition while two others sustained serious burns.
Botha said the four were cooking inside the temple on
Longcroft Drive when the explosion happened at 11:38.
When paramedics and the fire department arrived on the
scene they found the injured on the ground outside the temple.
The patients were transported to a hospital in Umhlanga
for treatment.
