Durban - Four people died when their car collided with a truck on the N11 near Chelmsford outside Newcastle in northern KwaZulu-Natal, on Saturday, paramedics said.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Jeffrey Wicks said it appeared that one of the vehicles had moved into oncoming traffic in the early hours of the morning, causing the collision.

The truck was wedged against the car, killing all four occupants on impact. The driver of the truck was not injured, said Wicks.

firstly it wasnt a truck and a car, it was an articulated truck and light truck. and secondly four died, two in one tuck and two in the other no survivers.
