Johannesburg - Five people, including a baby, died when
an 18-wheel truck crashed into four vehicles in Kibler Park on Monday, said
Johannesburg emergency workers.
The vehicles caught fire, said Johannesburg emergency
management services spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi.
"The five victims were burnt beyond
recognition," he said.
"Seven other people were treated on the scene before
being transferred to different hospitals around the city."
Fire-fighters were still battling to contain the blaze.
Mulaudzi said the truck was not carrying flammable goods.
