5 in court for Richter murder

Johannesburg - Five men arrested in connection with the murder of conservationist Franz Richter appeared in the Krugersdorp Magistrate's Court on Monday, SABC reported.
The matter against them was postponed to December 19, with bail hearing date set for January 15.
The five are accused of murdering Richter in a robbery last month. It was one of three murders in the Muldersdrift area in November.
Originally, there were only three suspects. However, five suspects appeared in court on Monday.
Richter, 80, was shot in the head and chest at his farm. He also was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money.
