Cape Town - Sixty-five people were injured after a multiple vehicle crash on the N2 in Durban, paramedics said on Wednesday.

"Four taxis and a car collided on the N2 North near Queen Nandi Drive," Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said.

Botha said paramedics arrived at the scene and found the wrecked vehicles and patients spread across the highway.

The injured were being stabilised and will be transported to various hospitals in the area, he said.
