Cape Town - Seven men accused of abducting and gang-raping a 13-year-old girl will spend the week behind bars.

The youths, aged between 18 and 20, appeared in the Wynberg Magistrate's Court on Friday.

The matter was postponed to November 25 for the bail application.

Police are searching for another suspect in connection with the attack which took place on Friday night in Nyanga.

The girl had been walking alone on Robert Sobukwe Road at about 20:00 when she was abducted by a man who took her to a shack where he and his friends repeatedly raped her.
